We the Sisters and the Brothers of Notre Dame de Sion (Our Lady of Sion) have a long tradition of welcoming people to our monastery in Ein Kerem. People have been coming here since 1861, when Alphonse Ratisbonne opened the house. Today it is the home of Apostolic and Contemplative Sisters, Brothers and Associates of Notre Dame de Sion, as well as the Sisters’ International Novitiate. Here we continue this ministry of hospitality, witnessed so beautifully in the Visitation of Mary to Elizabeth, as we welcome local and international guests in a spirit of acceptance, inclusiveness and collaboration with Christians, Jews and Muslims. Read More.
